Plain definitions, no jargon.
The terms we use in veli(Q CRM, defined the way the product behaves today. Each entry links to the page that explains it in full.
- CRM (customer relationship management)
- Software that keeps one record of each customer and the work around them: leads, deals, quotes, invoices, tickets and conversations.
- AI-native CRM
- A CRM where an assistant reads and acts on the records from the start, rather than a chatbot added on top. In veli(Q CRM that assistant is Genie. About Genie
- Genie
- The AI assistant built into veli(Q CRM. A dedicated Genie reads each module's data and acts as the signed-in user, pausing for approval on anything significant. About Genie
- Genie Skill
- A saved instruction that shapes how Genie answers in a situation, with optional examples and an output format. Personal or published by an admin. A skill can never give Genie a new tool. About Genie
- Genie Knowledge
- Documents an admin uploads so Genie can answer from your own policies and playbooks. About Genie
- Inchat
- The team chat built into veli(Q CRM, with channels, direct messages, threads and a room for every record. About Inchat
- Record room
- A chat room attached to a deal, account, contact or ticket. Its members, files and search results follow the record's own permissions. About Inchat
- Live record card
- A card in chat that shows the current stage, amount and status of a deal, account, ticket, quote or invoice, and stays current as the record changes. About Inchat
- Two-way timeline
- Calls, meetings, notes and stage changes on a record echo into its room, and a chat message can be logged back onto the record as a note. About Inchat
- Revenue Intelligence
- A premium add-on to veli(Q CRM with five pages: Today, Pipeline, Forecast, Conversations and Brief. About Revenue Intelligence
- Deal health
- A 0 to 100 score for each open deal, with points removed for each problem found. 70 or more is On track, 40 to 69 is Watch, and below 40 is At risk. See how it is calculated
- Signal
- A change worth knowing about, found by a nightly rule and worded from facts: a metric outside its range, commit at risk, a deal pushed out, a large deal gone quiet. About signals
- Commit
- The forecast category for deals the owner expects to close in the period. Revenue Intelligence shows whether the commit is safe once it is weighted by deal health. About the forecast
- What-if forecast
- A simulator that lets you set deals to close, slip or be lost and shift win probability, then shows where the quarter would land. It runs in your browser and saves nothing. About the forecast
- Goal outlook
- The likelihood that a goal will be reached by the end of its period, with a verdict from Achieved to Behind, calculated without AI. About goals
- Boardroom
- A leadership-only view of pipeline, revenue, renewals and goals with a morning AI briefing, enforced on the server. About the Boardroom
- Row-level security
- A database rule that returns a record only to people allowed to see it. In veli(Q CRM it keeps one workspace from reading another, and it is tested on every change. Security and trust
- Workspace
- A fully isolated copy of the CRM with its own records, pipelines, custom fields and team members. A person can belong to more than one.
- Automation
- A rule that runs on its own: a trigger (WHEN), optional conditions (IF) and one or more actions (THEN), with a run history. Genie and automations
- SLA (service level agreement)
- The response and resolution time you commit to for each ticket priority. veli(Q CRM tracks both with timers and reports how you are doing.
- MRR (monthly recurring revenue)
- The recurring revenue from active subscriptions, tracked in veli(Q CRM per subscription with plan, seats and contract dates.
- Human in the loop
- A design in which a person reviews or approves an AI system's action before it takes effect. Genie works this way for merges, invoices, bulk changes, owner changes and large deals. See the wider glossary
- Audit log
- A record of who changed what and when. In veli(Q CRM, admin and permission changes are logged, and Genie's actions are logged against the record. Security and trust
