What it is

An AI CRM is customer relationship management software where an AI assistant works inside the records, not beside them. In Veliq CRM that assistant is Genie. It reads deals, accounts, tickets and people records with the permissions of the person asking.
There are nine section Genies, each reading its own module's live data, plus a general assistant for other pages. Each one answers questions, prepares drafts and takes actions that a person could take in that module.
What Genie does

Ask which deals are stuck, which tickets are close to breaching their SLA, or what changed in the pipeline this week. Genie shows the records behind each answer.
It drafts invoices, replies and suggested updates for a person to review and apply, so the admin is done before you open the record.
Merges, invoices, bulk changes, owner changes and deals over 10,000 always pause for your confirmation. Every write after reading outside content also asks first.
AI can be a step inside an automation, such as asking Genie a yes or no question, but automations only run the rules you publish.
Control
AI CRM features you stay in charge of.
Genie acts as the signed-in user, so it cannot show anyone a record they could not open themselves. Admins can switch it off for the workspace or for one person, and they can see usage and credits.
- Genie Skills: saved instructions that shape answers, personal or published by an admin. A skill cannot grant a new tool.
- Genie Knowledge: documents an admin uploads so answers can use your own policies and playbooks.
- Voice input, so a rep can ask a question out loud.

Ask which deals need attention, draft an invoice for review, and read why a deal-health score dropped. The reasons come from rules you can inspect.
Ask which tickets are close to breaching their SLA, and open the tickets behind the answer.
Ask questions about the people records you are allowed to see. The same access rules apply to Genie as to you.
In Inchat, Genie can suggest a deal amount and close date, summarize a conversation, translate and explain. A teammate applies each suggestion.

What is Genie?
Genie is the AI assistant built into veli(Q CRM. It is not one generic chatbot: there is a dedicated Genie for Reporting, CRM, Marketing, Sales, Service, People, Data, Commerce, Veliq AI and Customer Success, each reading that module's data, plus a general assistant for other pages. What can Genie do?
It can analyze: what changed in the pipeline, which accounts are heating up, which deals are at risk, how a forecast would move in a scenario, what is overdue, and how any metric is calculated. It can act: create contacts, deals, tickets, tasks, quotes, invoices, goals and dashboard widgets, log calls and notes, merge duplicates, bulk reassign owners and build automations. It can also research, searching your records and your knowledge base, and saving the result as a dated report.
Will Genie change my data without asking?
Not for anything significant. Merging records, creating invoices, bulk changes, owner changes and large deals always pause for your explicit confirmation and show exactly what will happen. Every action is logged against the record and attributed.
Can Genie show someone data they shouldn't see?
No. Genie acts as the signed-in user. If a person cannot open a deal in the CRM, asking Genie about it will not reveal it either, and leadership-only tools are enforced on the server, not only hidden in the menu.

What can the AI in a CRM not do yet?
Genie does not search the web or read web pages. Calls and meetings are logged by hand, and transcripts are added by hand for AI analysis. See the limits on the security page.
